  Procedure Of Wearing Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj):
  • Minimum weight of Yellow Sapphire should be3.25 carets (600 mg).
  • Yellow Sapphire should be wear in First finger (Index Finger) of working hand.
  • Yellow Sapphire must touch your fingure skin.
  • Dip the ring into gangajal or cow milk at least 10 min before wearing.
  • Wear ring on Thursday during the ascending moon cycle(Shukal paksha) near sunrise time.
  • Recite “OM GURUVE NAMAHA” mantra while wearing the ring.
  • Yellow Sapphire should be cleaned regularly using Soapy water or soft brush as dust deposited at the bottom of the stone reducing the gemstone effect.

It is a transparent stone & may be mistaken for Yellow Sapphire due to its close resemblance in appearance. It can be easily distinguished from Topaz on account of its softness & lighter density. Topaz hardness on Moh’s scale is 8,  refractive index is between 1,619 – 1,627 ±0,01 and specific gravity is 3.53 ±0.04 .
Yellow sapphire – Pukhraj hardness on Moh’s scale is 9, refractive index is between 1.762 – 1.770 +0.008 and specific gravity is 4 ±0.05 .
Note: We have no faith in Golden Topaz that it has some astrological effects.
